Ben Wright has over 35
years experience working to
effect change and equity in
public education systems. He
has worked as a teacher and
administrator at the
elementary, middle and high
school, voc-tech, and
community college levels and
pioneered the effective use of
single-sex instruction. He
holds a Masters degree in
Public Administration from the
University of Puget Sound.
Wright has also served as an
adjunct Professor at the
University of Washington’s
School of Education.
Wright has presented
workshops all across the
country on the issues of
equity, and School
Transformation. He has
appeared on news shows and
in media print such as
MSNBC, NPR, BET.com,
Parents.com, and the Early
Show. He is considered one of
the top people in the field of
education leadership. Among
his many endeavors, he
presently serves on the
NASSPE (National
Association for Single Sex
Education) Board of Directors
and as an expert on panel for
single sex education for the U.
S. Department of Education.
